As a nonprofit organization, the Northwest Institute of Literary Arts has two primary sources of revenue—tuition and gift support. To keep tuition and programs at a level that enables us to serve the broadest range of students and aspiring writers, we rely on the generous support of alumni, friends, corporations, and foundations. Our Development team works to raise charitable contributions in support of the NILA mission. You can make contributions a variety of ways to help us enhance the programs and services that distinguish NILA.
Your donation to NILA helps us provide opportunities and support to writers of all ages: from writing contests and interdisciplinary programs for kids, to continuing education classes for adults, our annual writers conference, and our MFA program. Download a pdf of our 2015 programs here.
See below for the various donation options available to you. NILA is a 501 (c)3 non-profit and educational organization. For 15 years we have been making a difference in writers lives. You can help us make a difference today. Your donation is tax-deductible. Every donation will be acknowledged in writing.
WAYS TO GIVE
Getting married? Now you can support NILA by registering with the I Do Foundation. From honeymoons to invitations to wedding gifts to charitable wedding favors, the I Do Foundation allows couples and their guests to make wedding-related purchases that generate donations for charity. The I Do Foundation’s Charity Registry service also makes it easy for guests to make donations in lieu of gifts. All of these services are available free of cost at IDoFoundation.org. Check it out today, and be sure to suggest NILA as the beneficiary of your charitable wedding.
